Speed limit reduced as you leave Doddington into Wimblington

Wimblington Doddingto Speed

A new 30mph speed limit has been introduced for drivers leaving Doddington that spans the entirety of Wimblington until Mill Hill Roundabout.
The new speed restriction, implemented this week, replaces the 40mph limit that previously spanned much of the Wimblington route, and will include a ‘speed warning’ electronic sign near Knowles Transport.
This means that, from Mill Hill Roundabout onto March Road, the speed limit is 30mph until you enter Doddington, where it rises to 40mph until Crossway Wood (before Manor Estate), where it reduces to 30mph again past Lionel Walden and through most of the village.
The speed limit change through Wimblington appears to have been first proposed by Cambridgeshire County Council in January 2014.
