RSPB seeks volunteer to feed birds down Turf Fen Lane

Doddington Ditch

The RSPB is looking for a volunteer to scatter grain for farmland birds down a rural Doddington road.
A sign at the end of Turf Fen Lane (map), about 15 minutes walk from St Mary’s Church, seeks someone to scatter grain from a provided barrel, provided by local farmers, every few days.
The role would be ideal for a local dog-walker, and the walking route features some of the most picturesque views of Doddington.
For more information, contact Mike Burdekin of RSPB Ouse Washes: 01354 680212 or 07912 667742

Walk that route at least once a day would be happy to “feed the birds”
