Hello. I am the Life Changers Organiser for AgeUK Cambridgeshire (formally Age Concern) I offer a service to people over 65 whereby I can visit them in their own homes to offer support with any housing or finance problems. I would be grateful if you would allow me to use this media to let people in Doddington know about the service. I can also give short talks to any interested groups. If you are able to help can you please contact me to discuss the best way forward? Thank you for your time.

Many years ago there was a rather fine house called, I think, Coney-, Coneywood, or similar near the centre of Doddington. Is it still there? I couldn’t see it driving through a little while ago; There was also a farm with old steam engines in near the church I thought, but now there seemed lots of new houses. Has that gone also?

Hi just found this website. I am based in Fordham, Ely and there is an early retired couple that could do with some support. How do I get in contact with Kathy Dougal, Age Concern. Albeit they are not over 65 yet! Many thanks.

I know you posted this e-mail some time back, did you find any information?
Don’t know what specifically you were looking for but I have some bits and pieces from records if you have not already found them, all three were my neighbours in 1901 (PS I’m not over 100 yrs old!) Fishers, Yorkes, Redheads and Dunhams all prominent Doddington families that intermarried.
      More than happy to help.
