Update from Lionel Walden School – the safety barrier was replaced outside the school gate at approximately 7.00 p.m. last night (26th March).

As we now know who is responsible for allowing 75 heavy lorries per day through Doddington perhaps we the residents can now seek compensation from this haulage company for damage to our properties.
I think it would cost the company more than an extra £3.50 per lorry. So our quality of life is blighted because they want to save money.
The level of heavy goods vehicle’s through the village is completely unacceptable.
And why does the transport company in Wimblington allow it’s vehicle’s to take short cuts through Doddington.

Lorries through Doddington has reached a ridiculous level god above only knows what the Parish Council are doing to help us villagers live a normal village life.
Still the gates to the new cemetery are up so there doing something. What a waste of space this Council is.
