Doddington Ditch

There’s a number of beautiful walks in and around Doddington, giving you an opportunity to see some of the beautiful views of the Fens and witness some of the interesting wildlife – and get some wholesome exercise too!
There are a number of Public Footpaths around the village, and this page will add information about them at a later date.
In the meantime, click here to see the brochure for the Doddington Circular Walk, one of the best walks to see the sights of the village. The brochure has tons of information about the history and wildlife that you can see on the route, as well as a map to help you along the way.

Public Footpath becoming impassable?

If you go on a walk around the village and notice that a Public Footpath or Public Right Of Way is becoming impassable, use this form to contact Cambridgeshire County Council and select ‘Public Rights Of Way’ on the drop down menu in section 1.

If you have any information about good walks around Doddington, we’d love to hear about it and add it to this page!

I moved to Doddington in January 2014. There are some beautiful, but under used walk ways in and around the village. I am a mature happy horse rider who is very concerned about riding on the tretcherous, speedy, lorry laiden road that runs through the centre of this picturesque village. Surely opening up these under used walk ways to horse riders would keep them off this dangerous road, keeping them safe and help to keep the footpaths from becoming over grown and impassible in the first place. I would love to hear from anyone who agrees with me, and could give me some advice on how to help make this happen.
