Doddington is a village full of history, situated in Cambridgeshire, England, and the Doddington’s Doings is the village’s monthly newsletter.
Set in Fenland, between Chatteris and March, Doddington has two churches (St Mary’s Church and the Methodist Church) and around 900 houses.
There’s many clubs to suit everyone. For example, we have the Girl Guides, Scouts, Women’s Institute, the women’s section of the Royal British Legion, Short Mat Bowls Club, Outdoor Bowls Club, Cricket Club and an Under 5’s group and many more!
Every year without fail, the village puts on a carnival and sports day – and we are hoping the Christmas lights will come back to the village this year too.
There are many footpaths around the village to soak up those fantastic Fenland views. There’s also Welney Wildlife Centre nearby and the RSPB reserve Ouse Washes at Manea.
You can view the newest issue of the Doddington’s Doings on the sidebar to the right, as well as back issues, our monthly poll and the ability to subscribe to the site.
